Ghada, congratulation on your poem ’A bleak picture of Cairo’. It’s unique, but I think a cute eleboration is needed for your changing of mind for waiting at last, that may be “suddenly a motherly voice solaced me” or anything you like. With many thanks, M Mostaqul Haque, Bangladesh.(A PoemHunter poet)

'A bleak picture of Cairo'...is a universal portrait of the varied evils prevasive within every culture. As you say....we wait....and.....hope....for a brighter future. In spite of all the ills which surround....do remember.....there is no place like home!

Ghada... I love your poem, it covers writers block and frustration and fanatical religion too... I must read more of your work...10
