A Blanket Of Warmth Poem by Jessica Henning

A Blanket Of Warmth

Rating: 5.0

a blanket of warmth lays across the sky
believing those who dare to tell a lie

the colors so vibrant dares you to look
but not for took long or your pupils will cook

it knows all your secrets and all off your pain
it knows what you went through and helped cure the vain

its known you for years and many before
its seen your whole family and then many more

its kept you from harm and watched as you cared
it listened to any thing you had to share

the blanket of warmth that covers your soul
making you human and making you whole
