A Bit More Brighter Poem by Kewayne Wadley

I am becoming better
At being a beginner.
Each day I am learning that,
Every day is a brand new start.
That we're not totally defined
By what we've yet to accomplish
Or that it is not too late to start
The things we all wish we did
When we were younger.
To be honest I am getting a kick
Out of it.
Whether it is a few new words
Of a new language,
Or going to places I've been too
Afraid to try
For some silly reason or another.
Today I am learning that I
include the word 'we'
In almost every sentence
That I make, because I sincerely
Hope that you'll join me.
The word 'we' has a better
sound to it than just 'me' or 'I.'
But if not, I hope that one day
You'll decide to join me.
The day is just beginning to
shine a bit more brighter
