A Bit Misunderstood Poem by Bill Cantrell

A Bit Misunderstood

Rating: 5.0

A little bit here, a little bit there,
a little bit of little bits everywhere
No, I'm not doing another tongue twister
But why don't they say megabits instead of megabytes?

I had a bit of time on my hands, so, I went to try to round up some
I know, your already tired of the B word,
don't blame me, after all, the contest demanded it
So bit by bit I searched

Drill bit, that should make the host happy
Then I took a pit bull and turned it upside down,
and Shazam! , a bit bull
Well, I tried taking the s off of spit, winding up with drool instead

So I ventured away to a pub, and this gorgeous babe
was staring me dead in the eye, and bit her lip
I got my courage up and sat down and bought her a drink,
she asked me if I had a band-aid?
