Hi Connie Angel - I hope I'm not too late! A beautifully structured poem written in free verse but with rhythm and flow - a delight to read. I score it a TEN (unable to record but the thought was there!) V 1 - We all experience this Angel - the one we really love not there when we need them most! V 2 - A whole year - who is this guy to leave a beautiful romantic girl like you waiting so so long. V 3 Memories - lovesick - longing to be kissed 'Come home to me tha's all I wish! '. V 4 gets worse 'It's so hard - How many more candles? - Longing for a hug'. 'All I want for my birthday is you'. That last lines ays it all - all the memories - all the pathos - all the waiting. You have let us into your heart Connie - we all love you and rust and pray that by next birthday he will turn up and the waiting will be over! . Great emotional love poem - excellent.
