A Big One Though Comments

Rating: 5.0

I have not written a poem in a long time, and I feel good.
Maybe we forget how hard it is sometimes to think and feel
so deeply and to express emotions and stretches of consciousness
to people who don't even know us. Or if only to ourselves.

Yes, sometimes it is very hard to think and feel but I think this is not an issue for an excellent poetess like you! The moment you feel like expressing, you can produce a good one! This is a pragmatic write based on personal experiences....so well penned....10

We're not robots. We all need a break, sometimes a break from ourselves and most certainly from the erratic hustle and bustle not of life but from others. Well written wise words. Thank you Julia. Hang in there and don't let the bastards get you down.

...not written a poem... and feel fine... I fully agree. It is better that way than write something that goes in the name of poem on this site. You've made an eminently topical point here, dear poet.

I share your feeling. So glad you are back! I think I told you before, I get lost wandering the corridors of my mind. Music is a lubricant that frees me. Remember! Our minds never shut up. They jabber and question us all day. ad infiitum. Just write~ if flows like a waterfall. Toss away those you don't like. Post your FAVS Panagiota

I think we all share the same writer's addiction. Time that we confront it. Better than so many other addictions!

This says so much about all of us! I identify with it, completely. That's a sign that your " return poem" , speaks loud and clear to others. Am I being too presumptuous? No, I don't think so. I think all those that write, understand that they are searching relief that doesn't come, or only occasionally does. And it is brave and wholesome to confront this truth, as you have. I admire you for it so " bonnes vacances" , sounds better in French....
