A Better World Comments

Agreed. What more need be said? A few years before his death, Wallace Stevens wrote a poem that begins, WHAT IS THERE TO LOVE THAT I HAVE NOT LOVED? The poet Robert Bly who lives in Minnesota where I live quoted that line in one of his Poetry Reading and I've never forgotten it. In your poem the lover is not the poet but LOVE ITSELF.
