A Belated New Year's Resolution Poem by DM W

A Belated New Year's Resolution

I will patiently, and gently, let things go;
And like a river, move with life's constant flow.
I'm tired of pursuing lonely, dark paths.
I want to find something pure that will last.
I shall no longer seek out mere novelties.
I shall no longer follow nebulous dreams.
I will endeavour to use my skills and gifts,
And embrace the light wherever I find it.
