A Beautiful Story Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

I failed to do it,
So I felt extremely sad and dejected,
The world seemed a barren land to me,
Suddenly I got a beautiful story book from my beloved friend,
The story of a successful man was depicted in it,
The man got success for his great patience and concentration,
As I began to read it,
I became fully engrossed in it,
The man in the story failed again and again to accomplish a difficult task,
But he did not give up hope,
He was firm and resolute to achieve success,
Dark night came,
Everybody fell asleep,
But the energetic man tried and tried
To complete the hard work with deep attention and reverence,
Finally he became successful,
I thanked my friend,
As the story was a blessing in my life,
I learnt a useful lesson from it.....never to give up.
