I found quite a few nice rhymes and images here, BUT i don't really think you were a detective. And, what would become of all the baskets? ? ' : )
One of my favorite couplets: 'Finally a neighbor noted in passing, what a nice friend I had, To often leave me lovely gifts. I should be thankful and glad' bri ;)
