Graham I had to read this poem three times because I did not want to come out of the fairy dell, seeing them in there little white skirts and green bodices, I just did not want to leave. It was so full of beauty just like the poem cheers Sylvie.
Oh this sings, Graham! ! ! So sweet and gentle in sound, and equally pleasing to the mind's eye with the lovingly-drawn images. I just love your metaphor, here: 'ballet in white'. Delightful. Hey Graham, go to 'A Heart Is Surely Bound' by Ernestine Northover (if you haven't already read it) . If you can paint such beauty as you've done here, then you'll love the beauty in Ernestine's poem. Regards, Gina.
Hi! I’m Eddie Roa and I just got in to this website. By chance I came across your name in the list of poets and read some of your works. Good writes. I have posted some of my poems today and a few days ago.. My style ranges from light to dark poetry (modern enough but not postmodern) and some Japanese verse forms like haiku, senryu and tanka. I hope you will bother to check out my work. Thanks and happy writing.
