I can understand the depth of your feelings when you wrote this poem. It's true that nothing will come with us when we depart from this world. Moderate and legitimate desires, as you say, will lead our lives smoothly and peacefully. There is a proverb 'Thirai Kadalodi, thiraviyam thedu.' So going abroad to earn one's livelihood is not a sin. Opportunity comes once only in a man's or woman's life, and if it is let off, it will never come again. One should grab it at the right time and make use of the same. Your craving for your motherland is genuine, and its passion increases when you are away from your own land. Your poem is excellent and thought provoking indeed!
