Well I guess this explains why I always felt that I had a bit of Incan or Mayan heritage in my soul! Beautiful words about emeralds. As a child I didn't appreciate that stone; it seemed the whole natural world was green and I desired a more colorful, ethereal birthstone; or even a diamond, seemed more flashy to me than green emerald. But now I see the beauty inherent in each stone and appreciate all of them, but none quite so much as the emerald. Can see you did a lot of homework, researching these gemstones. Hats off to you.
