Under the blazing sun, the air feels thick
As the heat rises, my skin starts to prick
92 degrees, the temperature so high
It's like the whole world is ready to fry
Sticky and sweaty, I long for a breeze
But the scorching sun shows no signs of ease
The pavement sizzles, the grass turns brown
The heatwave has settled, in this sweltering town
The birds seek shade, the dogs pant in despair
Even the flowers droop, with no strength to spare
The sun beats down, with an unforgiving force
Every step I take, it feels like a remorse
But in this heat, there's a beauty to be found
The shimmering heat waves, dancing all around
The sky is painted, with a brilliant blue hue
As if nature's way, of saying 'I'm with you'
As the day goes on, the temperature rises
But my spirit remains, full of surprises
For in this heat, I find strength and light
To push through the struggles, with all my might
92 degrees, a test of endurance
But in the end, it's just a temporary occurrence
For tomorrow may bring, a cooler embrace
And the memories of this heat, slowly erase
So I'll bask in the warmth, let the sun kiss my skin
For in this moment, there is a lesson within
To embrace the highs, and weather the storm
For in the end, it's what makes us strong.
