Your compassion becomes you. In reaching out to others, you may find your greatest consolation. Praise for your sensitivity. Warm regards, Sandra

Abha, It is difficult to live in this checkered world of good bad, up down, rich and poor. It is important not to let any one feeling break you down. Between the blessings and the curse we must find joy amongst the despair. Take care, Richard

This Journey we are all upon, is not easy one, some dropp out hardly before it's begun, others go on and on, we are given this gift no matter how short or long, no need for guilt or tears, just remember those that went before us and hold them dear... Andy 10

I like your manner of writing … and it in a verse you originally underline that people remembered others, … (and about rich which too sincere «a help hand …» though «Whenever» only the god with can 'think' …sincere

Wonderful poem... it exposes the dilemma faced by us all..how right is it to enjoy whn others suffer but most us end up ignoring it n live in a illusion rather than face ourselves!

Really good poem. You've painted the guilt you feel so very much because of your position in relation to others' suffering. It's a humbling write and you really brought the differences to the fore with the analogies surrounding the senses. Enjoyed this very much. HG: -) xx

you have very sensitively depicted the sense of guilt we feel when we see the difference between several realities and social inequalities.i believe we can't change the world but if we can make a difference in some way to even one person its worth it.thanks for sharing.

The more one's social conscience is developed, the more questions come to mind. One cannot wipe out the suffering of the entire world, but one can make a difference to the lives of people we interact with. It could be survival issues, even plain loneliness of the young or old. Remember Buddha and his anguish when he first confronted human suffering? Thanks for this poem.

You create a lovely contrast in this work Abha. For every happy soul in the world, another is weeping. Best wishes, Andrew
