9/11.. great event that changed the course of history. a very descriptive and emotional and painful poem. i remember how i saw it in the Tv here in germany. such terrible act of cruelty. how many innocents died....... cant even think of it. The fiery remnants.........th smoke, the fear, anger, helplessness, sense of cruelty. devil is so powerful. how can such a thing happen..... well planned it was....... so many thoughts run down the spine now . thank you for presenting such a great poem about an event that shook us and is shaking us even now. God bless you for writing this. your pen is powerful. write more please...... thank you. tony
A very accurate and heart wrenching poem about 9/11, I remember well waking up and turning on the t.v. seeing the first plane hit the towers. I could not believe what I was seeing, it couldn't be real I thought. Then my mind turning to cousins who lived there, one was in the towers, but escaped with his life, hurt his knee, but was alive. All the smoke and ashes filling the atmosphere, so many responders and ordinary people suddenly becoming heroes helping everyone they could. Such a devastating picture is etched on my photographic memory - one that I will never forget. Thank you for this wonderful tribute to all the people and heroes of 9/11. May God bless you for sharing. RoseAnn
Crackling with firery remnants, of that horrific shatter blue sky day. Hard core at what we still wish we never saw. I invite you to read my poem, After The Towers Fell..written as a sense of trying to heal. Another poem, Take Cover is also about the events of 9/11. As a New Yorker I felt the collapse of the twin towers with a heavy heart...but sadder for the state of humanity, that occurrences such as this are still threatened throughout why we think to be a civil world. May no one have to see the likes of such loss, grave indifference to innocent life, and a making of a new normal again. PEACE...PEACE....PEACE...what else?
very emotional one touchs ones heart i must say man should now learn lesson of lesson otherwise one day humans will be also at verge of extinction. A Tribute to those who lost their precious lifes in horrific tragedy stuck on humanity and whole world suffers this humilated, unlawful attack on innocent people. In future I prey I may not hear about any such incident.
Mindblowing illustration of one the most horrific incidents the world has seen.
A very well written poem on the twin tower bombings. 'The passengers were riding a crazy horse with no reigns Not knowing the course, that would be our permanent stains.' I really liked these lines of truthfulness, well done fellow poet, well done.
a very good illustration of the twin tower attack in the poetic words..........excellent.......!
There are moments in this life that shape humanity... The life's of those lost were not in vain, they have forged the brighter horizon we see today... Your poem was well worth reading... Peace and love always...
