765. Guardian Of Your Dreams Poem by Jaden Knight

765. Guardian Of Your Dreams

Rating: 5.0

I want to be there when you sleep tonight
a silent guardian in the dark
watching over you as you sleep
not leaving until the dawn arrives

I want to observe you as you slumber
your breathing being the only sound
nightly noises will not trouble you
for none will pass your windows

I will turn all your nightmares away
banishing them to a pit of eternal darkness
even if one should get passed me
I won't let it trouble you for long

When you wake up I will still be here
no matter how tired I may feel
ready to do it all again the next evening
when I become the protector of your dreams once more
