721. As The Cat Penguins Wake Up To Sleep Poem by Jaden Knight

721. As The Cat Penguins Wake Up To Sleep

The horses are dancing in the nose of an egg
in order to shave a chinchilla snake leg
cherry tears are running up its hair
to terrify the stone in a pint glass chair

One of the arms is singing out of tune
ignoring the rap of the ocelot spoon
the bananas are trying to split the band
of a walking stick and an umbrella hand

The finger prints have lost a horse violin
to clean its eye feet lobes with a ladder
the rungs won't be enough to make a pillow
as one is trying to teach French to an adder

The snake's fangs are banging on ice drums
to annoy the talons of a sheep
the clouds have given the lion its thumbs
as the cat penguins wake up to sleep
