We all started out on zero
no matter what number we may hope to reach
from nothing we were created
and to nothing we will return

Zero is the perfect foundation
as we attempt to build our lives
some get more help than others
but it doesn't make them better

Zero is an opportunity for learning
as we have no conceived ideas
we can be moulded by our life's experiences
not that we will remember them when we pass
and the scythe man come to collect

We all started out on zero

when we die we will lose it all
from nothing we were created
and to nothing we will return
