593. Poem by Jaden Knight

593.

Walking my potato trombone
holding a giraffe by its trunk
I heard a monster horse hat
being tickled by pillow skunks

The smell was enough to freeze a horse
riding with strawberry ham
juggling freezers with its toes
with a jar of honey roast jam

The happily depressed fox lemon
was feasting on the ice
chopping up knives with a candle tree
to sell cucumbers to the lice

The insects marched to the sight of a breath
trying to eat snake hair bales
setting fire to their own eyebrows
in order to melt their tails

the smoke blinded the ears of a tennis cat
picking a fight with a balloon
that's enough sanity for the evening
so we can paint this morning's T Rex spoon
