545. Not Just This Christmas Day Poem by Jaden Knight

I don't have much money for presents
many are not appropriate any way
it's not that I don't want to get them
more the fact that I can not spend

I still want to give you a present
one that I hope means a lot
while it may not cost any money
hopefully you will still value it

I give you my ears to listen to your troubles
my arms to hug you when you need it
I also offer you my time
which while precious can not be bought

I hope that you appreciate my presents
as I only want to give them to you
every day as long as I can
not just this Christmas day
