512 Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Summers
Never seemed
So long,
scorched coal
Blisters turned me
Rock.

Winters
Frozen
To the core
Nothing
Melts this heart
No more

Monsoons
Tears compete
Rain Showers
Rains don't
quench me
Anymore.

Barren,
I am shifting
dune
Travelling
Searching
For everlasting.
Shores
Nalini

A very poignant portrayal of a suffering soul which gets no respite or solace from anywhere. A class apart. Thanks for sharing the poem.
