Sirens echoed into the distance and the waves drummed upon the sand. I felt its heat on my bare feet as I danced along the promenade, waving to my friends on the pier.
A waft of vinegary saltiness and fried foods accompanied my suncreamed nose and the parrots that dangled from my ears seemed to sway to the rhythm of my steps.
Feeling a strand of hair loosening, I re-secure it, laughing to myself as I feel the daisy slide over my sea soaked tresses. This is my summertime salsa.
