5 Seconds Poem by Randy McClave

Lord God please give him a reason
So, not again to commit treason,
This myself and our country beckons
Just for 5 measly seconds.
Give us one minute of peace
Where his lies and hatred will cease,
Where him and his followers will just listen
As if he were a true caring Christian.

People are dying that have never died before
Now with our allies we are declaring war,
We're giving to the billionaires and taking from the poor
We all need a moment to think, I sincerely implore.

He's a very bad and unintelligent person
About him my thoughts just worsen,
He's threatening our neighbors and our close allies
As he sees power through a dictators eyes.
Please stop and give us just a bit or two
So, we all could see this thing through,
"God! ", I constantly plead, "please help us"
