Oh yes, those school memories your poem evokes. So many of them. We moved a lot before I was in 6th grade and even then we went from the school that only went to the 6th grade and then 7th and 8th in another school and then high school. Making new friends, gazing out the window in a dream world wanting to be elsewhere. Thanks for the memories, David. Loved your poem! Warm Wishes, Marilyn

Wonderful reminiscences David. I remember the discipline, no relaxation during the day, always on our best behaviour and no playing around. Still it didn't harm us any. Nowadays, they can 'express' themselves, but that isn't always for the best. Thanks for the memories. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
