(cont.) the price of caviar? well, don't complain; someone has to catch the fish, squeeze its eggs out, and can them, ship them, etc. etc. i'll take TWO cans. and hold the lox (also a fish product) but i'll take a toasted bagel and cream cheese. make that one for me and one for Lawrence. to MyPoemList...i guess. : ( or :) ? (cont.) i've the feeling this poem has more to offer than i've gotten out of it. i think it is good, but barrel or gallon makes a difference in my outlook. (cont.)

made n the shade.... with a lemonade? [i did not make that up, but heard it years ago, as, i assume, L.S.P. did also.] i'm undecided. is Barrel meaning this: barrel (bbl) 1. Unit of volume for crude oil and petroleum products. One barrel equals 42 US gallons or 35 UK (imperial) gallons...? ? ? or do you mean gallon? ? it makes a huge difference in the poem's meaning, which i'm definitely not sure of (now) . (cont.)
