Where have all the men and boys gone?
Gone to become soldiers ev'ryone,
Marching, marching through the
graveyards.

Where have all the soldiers gone?
Gone to kill soldiers other,
Gone to the graveyards before long.
Where have all the graveyards gone?
Gone again to become flowers,
Overgrowing all the graveyards.

Where have all the flowers gone?
Where have all the men and boys gone?
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Will they ever learn?
They will never learn,
For they don't think they were wrong!
