We are all born with a door in our heads
whether we wanted it or not
some people's open easily and naturally
others are locked securely
Some have nailed theirs to the frame
barricading it with whatever they can find
they will never know the joy of the others
who have allowed things enter freely
Every day more break their locks
throwing them to the floor
pushing them aside as they swing ajar
as all barriers are cast aside
We are all born with a door in our heads
whether we wanted it or not
mine aids me with my sight
it is amazing how much more you will be able to enjoy
when you just open your mind
