478. Kinoko Poem by Jaden Knight

478. Kinoko

Kinoko is a happy dark haired elf girl
in her clothes of emerald green
she always carries her giant mushroom
without it she is never seen

It was given to her by her father
so was the golden amulet hanging down by her chest
"they bring out the sparkle in my blue eyes" she says
"and set me aside from the rest"

Her fungal toy is her parasol in the sun
her umbrella in the rain
keeping her dry and sheltered
until she gets home again

Kinoko makes the others jealous
as she walks happily through a deluge
but she is always willing to cover her friends
with her mushroom huge
