If I remove all my armour
to show you who I am inside
would you attempt to accept me
or would you be reaching for a blade

If I let my guard down slightly
knowing that I am taking a risk
would you take advantage of the situation
and attempt to overrun my defences

If I showed you the weaker spots
would you seek to take advantage
or show me how to fortify them
keeping them well covered
encouraging the strength to shine through

Will you take me as I would do you
accepting me for who I am
would you seek to become my new armour
and I look to become yours
