You promised to protect and serve
but not those who respect the law
corrupt companies and politicians
are all you're interested in shielding
everyone else can go hang

Using arrogance to lord over others
believing you've got the right
breaking the laws you swore to uphold
and not getting punished as harshly

We have the right to remain silent
while you lie and falsify evidence
not interested in catching the big criminals
but happy do victimise all those
who you have decided you want to be found guilty

only happy to ruin the lives of the innocent
claiming to be fulfilling your duties
if you actually did your job properly
there would be no one around to say
