431. Poem by Jaden Knight

431.

When I smashed open your cell to let you out
you screamed at me to close the door
as it struck the floor it melted away
leaving only a broken frame

I broke your chains to release you
you immediately went to attack me
took you long enough to realise that you couldn't hurt me
before you ceased your assault

I rescued you from your prison
and you insisted that I let you back in
but as you reached the walls they vanished
as if they were never there

I know that night still troubles you
although you refuse to admit it to anyone
was it just a dream you had
or was the whole thing in your head
