418. Poem by Jaden Knight

418.

He looked for one of the most wonderful treasures
that could never be bought or sold
it was always on his mind
and he could not stop thinking about it

Piles of diamonds and emeralds
meant very little to his thoughts
as did the rubies and sapphires
a mountain of gold would not bring him delight
nor would a continent of silver

For love in its purest form was far more valuable to him
than all the money and jewellery in the galaxy
never to be equalled by finest craftsmen

His prize could not be purchased
but could be freely given
and when the maiden smiled and gave him her heart
he knew he could stop the search

He looked for the most wonderful treasures
one that could never be bought or sold
he found it thanks to the maiden he married
his quest was finally over
