417. Shut Up And Talk To Me Poem by Jaden Knight

417. Shut Up And Talk To Me

Shut up and talk to me
close your mouth except when you speak
I don't want to hear what you have to say
so don't be quiet for a single second

Stop staring and don't look away
keep your eyes on mine but in the wrong direction
I don't want to feel your gaze as it burns
but I will happily bathe in the fire

Strip off and get dressed
be wearing clothes but still be nude
a baggy dress and strapless jeans
high heeled flats with astroturf studs
Don't do as I tell you and obey every word
break the rules but follow them carefully
follow me as I allow you to lead

I will follow you when I walk ahead
Go away and remain where you are
get as far as possible but be by my side
feel I don't exist when you are around
yet I can't live a second without you
