Can I hold you tonight until the morning
wrapped up in my arms
until the first light of sunrise
keeping you safe from harm

You can use me as a pillow
as you gradually drift off to sleep
I won't disappear by morning
that is a promise I am sure to keep

I will keep you close as you rest
it won't bother me if you snore
loud or quiet I don't mind
