May I kiss your lips goodnight
as I look into your eyes
a promise of love for as long as I live
and as long as we are together

Our souls gaze upon each other
as all barriers are removed
only the love we that we share
shall shine radiantly between them

our hearts beating as one
as we are joined
even if it is only for the briefest of seconds
time can stand still for an eternity
but in that moment we will only notice each other
