400. Poem by Jaden Knight

400.

I've stood at the edge of the void
as the darkness calls out my name
it pulls at me and tells me to surrender
to give into its embrace

Shadowy figures creep around
hiding from my sight
every day they try to push me in
but none has succeeded yet

They fear what may come if I am released
and I set my own darkness free
if I realise my true power
and turn to use it against them

I will discover the names of my demons
before exploiting all their weaknesses
I will kill as many as I can
before carving my name deep in their skulls and hearts
and casting them into abyss they came from

The void can feast on their souls as they burn
but it will not have mine just yet
4x you darkness you can't take me
for I am willing to fight not fall
