399. silence Is Oppression Poem by mamutty CHOLA

399. silence Is Oppression

SILENCE IS OPPRESSION
Silence is that lesson which whoever
has read, read very often wrongly

One who does not know how to remain silent
Will never know, either how to speak

Beware of nature's silence who knows
what is hidden in nature's silence

When silence reigns
Oppression also reigns

Silence is not only assertive
But musical as well

Silence's screams are soundless
Those who fail to understand language of silence,
Will they ever feel the pains expressed in words

Such silence is not justified,
if it covers up truth in life

I have seen him sitting very often, on sea shore
