399. Moriko The Forest Priestess Poem by Jaden Knight

399. Moriko The Forest Priestess

She is a priestess of nature
in robes of purest starlight
with a crown of ivy on her long blond hair
she walks the forests by day and night

Her parents named her Moriko
in Japanese it means forest child
she is at one with the animals and trees
be they tame or wild

She is keeps the forest safe with white magic
and loves producing butterflies
it fills her heart with happiness and joy
when they first fly up to the sky

There is nothing here that will cause Moriko harm
not even the thorns of trees
her realm is gentle around her
in her wonderful forest of peace
