##39 (Vivekananda) The Parliament Of Religion Comments

When I was a school student I was told that Swami Vivekananda in America is known to have said, -' I have come to preach such a religion to which Buddhism is a rebeled child and Christianity is a distant echo! ' Hindu religion is so vsat and so broad, that it sweeps along with it all other religions, since God is one! Because of its broad dimensions, it never went out to make converts in the same manner as others! The only criticism I heard is about its idol worship & countless numbers of Gods & Godesses! Can you throw some light on these aspect? Thanking you! -Raj
