389. Poem by Jaden Knight

389.

And so you attached yourself to me
and started trying to feed
seeking all that was good
to nourish your dying existence

You were of no benefit to me
all you gave were more demands
your teeth grated as you tried to gorge
transferring weakening infections

Eventually I figured you out
and tore you from my life
dripping blood from your mouth
as you were cast aside

You attached yourself to me and tried to feed
bit now I know your kind
constantly feeding never helping
you're a parasite of the lowest order
