386. Poem by Jaden Knight

386.

You wait in vain for the light
something to illuminate your way along your path
sometimes you have to be strong
and be your own guiding light for a while

The alternative is groping along mindlessly
in the darkness of your own uncertainty
that kind of thing doesn't happen any more
as nothing could ever be that simple

and so you should practice hard to see your way
even if it doesn't work at first
they say that the reward is greater
if you don't succeed first time

if you want you can become a beacon for others
and inspire those close to you
but best thing is if you are inspired also
otherwise it viewed as pointless

You wait in vain for the light
something to illuminate your way along your path
sometimes you have to be strong
and be your own guiding light for a while
