thanks, Aries P. aka John Westlake, for starting the October 2016 showcase off right! i love this poem and have done what i can do to put it into Section A this month. now i'm just waiting for PH to do its magic and actually have your poem show up there! [well, this site IS free! ! ! ] i love your cleverness and the rhyming here. great writing, for me at least. ha ha to MyPoemList bri :) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - p.s. Cupid isn't using a bow no more..............i like the use of no more instead of any more here, BUT my English teachers might have had fits if i'd used no more in this way when i was in school. some people, i'm sure, DO talk like this. :) you won't see it coming until you're hit and then you haven't a hope.................Ah! how love can sneak up on a person at times! ! ! i'm hiding! ! !
