I will not ask for your pain
but you give it anyway
a worthy distraction from boredom
and in that way it was most welcome

to be honest I was caught unprepared
certainly didn't expect it
I faced it as though it my own
before showing you how to do the same

next time do not sprinkle it around
just tell me how it is
it's easier to solve when I know the truth
rather than hiding it away
