Beautiful. It rhymes and flows rythmically, laced throughout the reminiscence with the excellent reminder of vanity and the love of God. Delightful. The trip down memory lane is lovely, tinged with the very real grief of the destruction of the simple natural beauty for the concrete jungle which comparatively stifles all life. The wonder of God's salvation, giving hope and life and changing a man are excellent in this, continuing the theme of change, only for the better, ie. 'nothing lasts forever...even childhood and youth are vanity, and the old man replaced by the new. This is a wonderful piece. I quite enjoyed it.
