I liked this - it is a very clever piece of writing - lovely choice of descriptive words.

'And yet gambling with us...' I find this phrase a trivialization of God, and the way I know my God - He never gambles, He loves. It is understandable for those who have not encountered Him personally to surmise hallow concepts of who He is, and only with acceptance of the CHALLENGE to seek Him can we have unbiased grounds for discussion on His existence. After all, He needs no defense and is not affected by our stubborn unbelief. So there.
