Reading your work....I have thoughts..of my children.....years ago. Thanks....for the generous walk.....down memory lane!
A very precious time in a child's life. So much to discover with their little minds going in a million directions. Sweet poem, David, I loved it! Warm Wishes, Marilyn
the whole growing up process so well expressed in just a few lines simple and nice
Just when we think that we have the place child-proofed...they learn to walk! ! ! Then parents have a whole new set of concerns! : -) Hugs, Dee
this is such a wonderful poem, simple and effective in evoking emotions we have all felt when a child takes a fist step and begins to explore. he slowly becomes a person and is no longer so helpless.
That's so cute and brings back such warm memories. The only thing is, once they open that door soon they are all gone. Time is certainly fleeting. Great little poem! (10)
