I lie down and so do you
Each on another side of the bridge
Wondering, asking what why and who
Whether it’s me you’ll ditch
Watch the bridge go down in flames
But my passion still burns
In this darkness, it awakens
Travelling down these roads, it turns
To face you, only you
Just look me in the eye and tell me
That wherever you’ll go and whatever you’ll do
Love will let you see
Watching birds crossing the sky
I wonder what it’s like to be free
To just leave your sorrows and fly up high
But reaching the top, I’ll still be looking down upon thee
Don’t want to leave
I got to stay
I’ll keep carrying my heart on my sleeve
Just to make a brighter day
Hope will never leave my side
Nor the warm thought of your embrace
Tell me this love hasn’t died
Show me that that isn’t the case
Love me, love me not
You’re the only thing I like this much, don’t give up
