297. One Day Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

297. One Day

Rating: 5.0

One day I saw a sea change in me.
I felt, 'I am not what I was earlier'.
I soared higher and higher
And saw Mount Everest very near to me.

In the morn the clouds flew with me.
From the upper side of the clouds I saw the sky.
I became so colourful with the golden sunlight.
I saw the sun setting and the evening falling over the earth.

Floating in the mid sky I faced a moonless night.
And saw the stars twinkling and staring at me.
Then I thought
If I sould be lost in the midst of the stars.

But I am worried only for one.
She is none but my mother- my loving mother.
I want nothing but my mother's affection
As her affinity always gives me Heavenly joy.
