278. I So Love Being A Cuttlefish Poem by Jaden Knight

278. I So Love Being A Cuttlefish

Rating: 5.0

I so enjoy being a cuttlefish
travelling the depths all day
I'm one of the most social ones
and flirty in my own special way

I'm classed as the ocean's chameleon
I breathe underwater with ease
I back up my words with a myriad of colours
especially when I want to please

I hide away from my enemies
use my abilities to show off to friends
it's so cool when danger comes near
that in to the background I'm able to blend

People are wanting to know all about my life
and that is good enough for me
feel free to learn but don't disturb us
you'll find me at home in the sea

I enjoyed this poem John. I am an old stick in the mud and do not appreciate free verse. This Was entertaining from the perspective of the fish. Entertainment is the name of the game. I don 't know whether you do limericks but I urge it as most satisfactory with all its disciplines.
